We spent a week in Aurora while attending our nephew's wedding in July, 2017. Our rather large extended family rented a total of five different houses in Aurora. My immediate family of five (plus a guest) stayed at 16 Cherry Ave. and we were extremely pleased with the accommodations. This charming, completely remodeled home just off Main Street was very comfortable and a real joy to occupy. Everything inside seemed brand new. It was fully equipped and beautifully decorated. We particularly enjoyed the screened-in porch in the back, great for enjoying coffee in the morning and simply relaxing in the afternoon or evening. Jacci and Virgil Farlow went to great lengths to make sure our stay in Aurora was as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible. I highly recommend Aurora Mainstays! - Dennis
This home is spectacular. It is renovated to new, clean, well equipped and our hostess, Jacci, was the absolute best. The common areas including the kitchen, dining, seating and porch all flow beautifully. It is exactly as the pictures show. If you are heading to Aurora or even to the Ithaca area this home is beautiful and Jacci will make sure your needs are met. We highly highly recommend this wonderful home. - Stephanie
Loved your adorable house! Thank you for all the amenities and details you've shared. Our family had a great time while checking out Wells College. We'll be back for sure! The Benza Family

JUST WOW!!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is warm and welcoming and reminds me off a time when things were simpler. The decor is cheery and current although has a timeless feel. The beds are super comfy with pretty quilts and coverlets and the showers are lovely. Also, you can't beat the location. A few steps away opens doors to the local wine store, gourmet shop, boutique shopping, tavern food and fine dining. Plus, there are beautiful historic sites (some in the form of breathtaking inns) so be sure to take a leisurely walk along Main Street! I cannot wait to go back over and over again. Thank you to Jacci Farlow, too, who is the best property manager ever, accommodating every need, to the finest detail. Date of arrival May 23, 2018

When you are choosing a place to stay in Aurora, you must choose Lucy's House at 16 Cherry Street! We stayed there during Memorial Day weekend, and we were warmly welcomed by Jacci. Although the home is historical, it has been completely updated and renovated and is just beautiful. The house is very comfortable with plenty of sitting areas, a lovely screened porch, and plenty of luxurious touches throughout the house. We look forward to our next stay in Aurora, and we will definitely choose 16 Cherry! Lee Bradway

David October 2019 Jacci is the best. She puts the super in superhost. From the delicious pumpkin bread and breakfast starters in the fridge to the helpful hints for a wonderful weekend in the Finger Lakes, she had it all covered. Plus the house was amazing.

Rachel August 2019 I know this area well and this is one of the nicest, if not the nicest, rental houses in Aurora. It’s centrally locates but not along route 90, and is a great set up for a family or two couples. The house is updated meticulously and beautifully, and I was pleasantly surprised to have some breakfast treats in the fridge — a big deal when you’re a ways away from a proper market. Jacci was super accommodating and lovely.

Annie July 2019 Fabulous layout in this cute 2- bedroom/bath home. Jacci had such good ideas for adventures! Excellent trip all around! Highly recommend Jacci and Cherry Ave!

Sarah August 2018 The Aurora Village house is a gem. Perfectly located to walk seconds to the heart of this beautiful village, yet far enough up the hill to avoid road noise. In pristine condition, beautifully decorated, and very well stocked with all the bedding, paper goods, plastic bags, laundry supplies, etc. that you could possibly want. The screened-in-porch is a lovely quiet space with a wooded view. Steps up the hill is a beautiful historic cemetery worth a walk. Two doors down is the historic library open a few hours each weekday afternoon. Down the hill 1 block is a small park with lake views. The Aurora Inn and Fargo restaurant are steps away. Down the road less than a mile is the town dock with swimming platform. The living room is very spacious for a 2-bedroom house -- essentially it has two comfortable and airy sitting areas. And the bedrooms are also large and comfortable. The memory foam mattresses are expensive, lush, although some might find them a bit soft. And Jacci could not be a more helpful and responsive host. She knows everyone in town and can answer any question -- she even reunited me with my childhood playmate from the town from 40 years earlier. I have stayed in many AirBnBs, but none in better condition than this house!
